Introduction to People Powered Advocacy

Free– Presented by Michigan League for Public Policy in partnership with the Essential Needs Task Force, this is part one in a three part series. This training will provide an overview of the structure of government processes that impact government, business, and community services. You will learn how to research and understand proposed legislation and the various roles and responsibilities of government officials in decision-making, and how and when to connect with decision-makers to inform the processes. Please share this with your colleagues/co-workers and community organizers, as well.
